Green energy pushing Germany into recessiion; will it do the same to NC? | Eastern NC Now

North Carolina followed the EU's Green Deal when the RINOs and Democrats pushed through North Carolina's Green New Deal, HB951. even going beyond the EU.  Germany was in the lead on European "green energy" policy and the impact is being felt there first. North Carolina is likely to share the experiences from this policy with Germany.

Now, Germany main opposition party, which is also the leading party in the polls, the Christian Democrats (CDU), are warning that Germany's Green energy policies are pushing it into a recession and demanding that the government put the brakes on many of its programs. Residential electric rates are the highest in the world due to use of expensive wind and solar power.  German business leaders are warning of severe economic problems, even de-indusrization from the green energy policies.  Germany's second most popular political party according to the polls, the populist / nationalist Alternative fur Deutschland (AfD), which is also the fastest rising party, have long been opposed to the green energy Energiewende.   Polls show a new election would give the CDU and AfD a comforable majority between them.

Meanwhile, Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis is leading a growing citizens movement against expensive green energy.
