The Washington Examiner has an interesting article out that based on the data, Covid lockdowns were worse than useless. In addition to lots of other damage to society and the economy, the lockdowns were worse than useless in fighting Covid.
Prior to Covid, WHO policy on pandemics was to focus on herd immunity, but when Covid hit, WHO was under the control of leadership put in place by China, and they deviated from previous policy to recommend using the Red Chinese approach of lockdowns.
Sweden followed the old WHO model of seeking herd immunity, and it worked.
