What I heard from Mayor Adams: Instead of the Trump Era "Remain in Mexico" policy, he wishes to institute a Biden Era "Remain in Texas" policy; however ...

Texas Governor Abbott has, on the other hand, settled on a Biden Era "Remain in New York" policy, or if need be, a "Bus Back to New York" policy, thereby sanctuary by proxy.

I wonder who wins in this contest of wills, all the while a doddering Biden dithers amid the hazed dreams of his many lives yet lived within the words, and motivations of better men.
