"I'm done with the rhetoric. It's time for action. I will be the president to finally END the invasion at the southern border. Thanks to @joniernst for attending our event in Montgomery County where I outline the way to end the crisis once and for all," DeSantis tweeted after the event.

Sen. Joni Ernst shared this after the visit: "Thank you Governor @GovRonDeSantis for visiting my hometown of Red Oak! It was a pleasure talking about important issues with you and such a great group of Iowans!"

He stopped by the KCCI studios in Polk County, Iowa for an interview that will air early next week.

DeSantis continued on to Adams County, Iowa for a stop at Balance4Ward Nodaway.

He then stopped in Des Moines for a God Above Government Rally at Fort Des Moines Church of Christ to share the details of his leadership to protect religious liberty in the state of Florida and his plan to do the same as President of the United States.

DeSantis said on Twitter following the event: "The Left may say they oppose the establishment of religion, but they are the ones trying to establish a religion - the religion of leftism. If there is a conflict between the Left's agenda and your faith, they want you to bend the knee. We will not. That is why we must restore full religious liberty in this country - and now is the time to do it. If we don't, we will lose this battle for all time. As your President, I will not let that happen."

DeSantis ended his day at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition event where he spoke to a packed crowd about his plans to preserve religious liberty as President.

"I'll go in on day one understanding that none of these distractions matter, it's all about true north, and it's about doing all the things we need to do to reverse the decline in this country. I'll be laser focused on doing that and delivering for you for eight full years over two presidential terms," DeSantis said at the event.

In the most recent Midterms Election, the "Republican Red Wave" turned out to be a "Republican Red Ripple," which, as in all elections, confounded the political prognosticators of what to expect down the governing /political road: What, and who, do you think is best for this meandering Representative Republic in the near future?
Because they know how to best allocate the public's money back to the right part of the public, the Democrats will NOW always prevail and get my vote.
With patriotic pragmatism the cornerstone of the best of the Republican Party, they will ultimately save this Constitutional Republic from self-destruction.
Since the Executive Branch is so important to turn this Representative Republic around, I am still on Team Trump in 2024.
Since the nation may need a different path to Conservative patriotism in the Executive, I am joining Team DeSantis.
Because I am entitled to take the government dole, the prevailing favoritism whenever possible, I will support any, and every Democrat candidate.
