Anthony DeLone Cutler | Eastern North Carolina Now

Anthony DeLone Cutler, born on June 6, 1982, in Beaufort County, NC, left this world on October 10, 2023, in Washington, NC after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

He was a dedicated member of Woodard's Pond Church of Christ. Professionally he was a Supply Chain Procurement Agent for Spirit Aerosystems and was thoroughly respected throughout the organization. Throughout his life, Anthony found joy in the simple pleasures that life had to offer. He loved being with friends socializing, or taking a trip to the beach or wakeboarding. With his career, he was able to travel the country and the world. The stories he would tell of going on South African safaris, meeting people from Nigeria, visiting the Eifel Tower, seeing the Louvre were priceless and entertaining. One of Anthony's most admirable qualities was his ability to make friends and his loyalty to them. He valued the bonds he formed with others and cherished the moments spent in the company of those close to him. When he was healthy and not traveling, he loved watching East Carolina Football on a Saturday, his 49ers on Sunday and Yankees baseball in the spring/summer. He was an easy-going man with simple tastes, who enjoyed those small, easy pleasures in life.

Anthony will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Becky L. Cutler, his devoted father, Jerry D. Cutler, and his supportive brother and sister, Tim D. Cutler and Jenny C. Rauf (Brother-In-Law Tahir Rauf). Additionally, he is survived by two Nephews and a Niece with whom he lovingly referred to as "rug rats", (Alec M. Rauf, Emma R. Rauf, and Jonah C. Rauf), a large extended family, and countless friends who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Visitation will be on Friday night October 13, starting at 6:00pm and ending at 8:00pm at Paul Funeral Home in Washington, NC. Graveside services to celebrate Anthony's life will be held on Saturday, October 14, at 11AM (Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, NC) and will be officiated by Eddie Gurganus (Minister Woodard's Pond Church of Christ) with Kevin Cutler, Donnie Cutler, Troy Cordon, Alec Rauf, Cade Wallace and Jonah Rauf serving as Pallbearers.

Anthony may no longer be physically present among us, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May his inspiring journey serve as a reminder to appreciate life's simple pleasures and to cherish the connections we forge with others.

With grateful and open hearts, we extend many thanks for the outpouring of compassion, love, and acts of kindness shown to us during this trying time. Our hearts will be forever marked by an emptiness, and our world has been robbed of light and color. But, our pain is lessened by the love we feel from all who have honored Anthony. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards Woodard's Pond Church of Christ 9004 US 264 Hwy East, Washington, NC 27889 or the ECU Health Foundation to help provide hope for cancer patients https://give.ecuhealthfoundation.org/

Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is honored to serve the Cutler family.
