How wind and solar subsidies drive electric rates into the stratosphere | Eastern NC Now

NC is headed this direction thanks to RINOs like Sen. Jim Perry and Sen. Phil Berger

Subsidizing expensive and unreliable wind and solar energy, or mandating them over more efficient traditional sources of power causes electric rates to Skyrocket.  The Spectator, Australia has an in-depth article out explaining how that is happening in their country, dictated by politicians.  This is a cautionary tale for the US where politicians are also pushing these wind and solar schemes.

Here in North Carolina, a coalition between "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy, leftwing Governor Roy Cooper, and RINO legislative leaders Phil Berger and Tim Moore has imposed this same process on North Carolina with passage of HB951.  One of the RINOs active in promoting this scam was state Sen. Jim Perry of Kinston.

Germany's obsession with wind and solar has already driven its power prices to the highest in the world, over twice as much as next door France, which relies mostly on nuclear power. This is where politicians like Cooper, Berger, Moore, and Perry are pushing North Carolina.

We need to remember at primary time that our local liberal Republican state senator Jim Perry was one of the promoters of the Green New Deal in the NC legislature. He needs to be replaced.
