Veterans Day 2023
Without doubt, our veterans are due the honor and appreciation they deserve on Veterans Day and any other time it happens. Without any diminishing of that honor we want to also pay a special word of "thanks" to the families and loved ones who remain at home while their hero is deployed. They suffer long, sleepless nights, holidays and special days like anniversaries, birthdays etc. miles apart from their loved one. Many dread watching TV and seeing the danger their loved one faces. Those with children, especially those older enough to know their parent is gone but not mature enough to understand why, need our prayers of support. Sometimes waiting is worse than actually being gone. These heroes deserve our special thanks on this special day. May God give you peace and strength to....wait.

If you mean voted out of office, I'm with you. If you mean firing people because of their politics, you lost me. Trump is already talking about setting up camps for people he doesn't like. That sick-o will bring about civil war just to save face.

Bob, you are right that people fight and die for what the flag represents and that is why it should be protected as a symbol of democracy and freedom. It is by the sacrifice of those who have served that you are able to express your position on where you stand. We should all be thankful for that.

Because they knew the reporter, the poet, the lawyer, and the university were worth risking their lives. Nobody fights and dies for a flag. People fight and die for what the flag represents. They served to protect my right to say: DJT, kiss my a$$. With all his millions and all his power he cant stop me from saying it. That in a nutshell is why people serve in the greatest country on earth. Truth to power.
