Free speech is a cornerstone of demcoracy, and without it, real democracy is not possible. Freedom of speech is under serious attack here and in Europe by both government and private entites. This attack on freedom of speech interfered in the holding of a free and fair election in 2020 based on the research of Real Clear Investigations. The Department of Homeland Security was involved and right under President Trump's nose.

Much of this public-private censorship partnership's efforts related to running cover for the extensive campaign of Democrat election lawyer Marc Elias and his multitude of lawsuits to manipulate state election laws to make it easier to cheat. There was a concerted effort to try to tamp down any objections to what Elias was doing or any other questions raised about ballot security.

One of the worst examples of how the censorship alliance between government and private entities interfered in the 2020 election was the suppression of information about the Hunter Biden laptop, which at least the govenrment actors knew was an accurate story but worked to suppress it anyway to help Joe Biden politically. Post election polling showed that if this information had not been suppressed and voters had known about it, Trump would have won.

Marc Elias is the sleazeball lawyer from the 2020 election who ought to be under indictment. He was behind lots of partisan election rigging and is still at it.
