illegal immigration issue continues to split the Democrat base
The issue of illegal immigration is splitting the Democrat political base. A few weeks ago at a mass rally in Chicago against illegal immigrattion, black voters widely threatened to vote Republican or Independent rather than Democrat because they blamed Biden and the Democrats for illegal immigration overwhelming their city.
Now the president of the Illinois NAACP has chimed in. Teresa Haley, speaking in a video conference with state NAACP chapter leaders. declared "These immigrants who come over here, they've been raping people, they've been breaking into homes, and they're savages as well" Haley received the national NAACP award as "Activist of the Year" in 2021.

But if I have a job, I don't need welfare. Which is it?
Oh and are you saying rich white Americans hire illegals? Isn't that illegal? Should we arrest them? They are rich, and white so maybe we give them a pass and just round up the browns. Please, make this make sense? Who do we lock up? |

The fact is that they are crowding out BOTH. Welfare usage among those with a migrant background is higher than among white or black Americans. Heck, in Germany, it is 62% of all welfare recipients, so that is what wew can expect here, too, now that Biden is copying Merkel's open borders. At the same time, migrants are competing with Americans for jobs. Yes, it is likely different sets of migrants on the welfare track than on the job track, although some may be double dipping.

The answer is ALL of the above. Illegal aliens are crowding out American citizens for lots of things. I do not know what "jerbs" are, but I suspect it is a "woke" way to say "jobs".

Competition from illegal aliens for jobs, housing, and government services poses an even greater threat to black Americans than white Americans, so it makes sense that many of them are waking up to this threat and responding.
New York City has long had a program to give out thousands of free turkeys for Thanskgiving to poor people, but this year no poor Americans got them. They all went ot illegal aliens. I suspect poor Americans in Chicago are likely seeing the same sort of things. New York also kicked poor American veterans out of their housing to give it to illegal aliens. |

Government does need a severe crackdown on the illegal aliens themselves and those who help them. Those who give jobs to illegal aliens, house illegal aliens, and help illegal aliens enter the country all need to be prosecuted. The illegal aliens themselves need to be deported. We need President Trump or Governor deSantis in office to get that ball rolling.
