In years past, truth used to be the guiding light of journalism, but much of the major media today don't look at things that way. Real journalism in the US is largely dead, and the new breed of "advocacy journalism" is more ideological propaganda than anything else.
A statement by the new CEO of NPR (National Public Radio - or should it be Nutty Progressive Radio?), Katherine Maher, has complained that truth is "a distraction that gets in the way of getting things done." This is the same NPR where a longtime news staffer recently exposed how NPR's newsroom is controlleded by partisan politics. That staffer was suspended for daring to blow the whistle on bias at NPR, and has since resigned.

With NPR becoming little more than a modern version of Stalin's Radio Moscow, the real question is why in the heck are they still getting taxpayers money, directly or indirectly?
Absolutely not true. Your stance on immigration is not hate speech. I have no problem with your position. However when you call hispanics disease ridden rapist vermin, you cross a line. sure you can say it, but it tells the world you're an a$$.

That is not where "hate speech" laws suppress free speech, Bob. A prime example is a French senator prosecuted for "hate speech" for a social media post "immigration kills" after a brutal rape and murder of a young French girl by an illegal alien migrant. If you stand up against illegal immigration, the "hate speech" gestapo is likely to go up against you. Ditto, if you disagree with the current "gender ideology" as several Franch feminists have found out the hard way. Theses attacks on free speech by government are an assault on democracy.

Not all speech is protected. You know that. But hey , if you want to throw around the N-word, go ahead.
|
The First Amendment is a RIGHT, not a "challenge". Bobbie, you are a known opponent of free speech, who, for example supports the "hate speech" scam to suppress free speech.
|
That link says nothing of the kind. It says the challenge is that any one can lie on the internet and fool others. The internet is free speech protected sewer.
You might want to read the links you post. What an idiot |
Now the blonde Marxist bimbo running NPR has been caught on video trashing the US Constituion and referring to the First Amendment as "a challenge" that needs to be overcome to control the narrative. Elon uusk has lit her up over her attacks on free speech.

You are back to your old definition of "Truth" Bobbie, and that is sayihg that whatever fits the far left narrative is "truth" and anything that isn't is not "truth". No wonder you like NPR so much. You would have loved Radio Moscow back in Stalin's day.

Please, most of you cut your teeth on a network (FOX) that wouldn't know truth if Duschy sat on it.
I stand by NPR |
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. |
It sure sounds like NPR has the same attitude toward "truth" as our resident progressive troll, Little Bobbie. It is no surprise that he is a big fan of NPR.

BTW, saying Hispanics _ illegal aliens IS racist. Being an illegal alien is a matter of violating our immigration laws, NOT someone's ethnic identity.
