Lucretia was born to Edwin and Katie Wilkinson Roper on November 13, 1932. Lucretia is alive to live forever with her Father God and is waiting for her loved ones to join her. She married O. E.     Lucretia loved the outdoors and summertime. She was a loving caregiver to others and truly loved and cared for her family.

Lucretia worked with local health, agriculture, and school systems. She loved people and never met a stranger. She volunteered at Belhaven and Northeast Elementary School and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the Hyde County Correctional Center. She was a member of the Washington Red Hat Honey's and the Belhaven Red Hat Belles. She was a multiple gold medalist at the Senior Games.
