A major push is underway to make North Carolina the 30th state to approve Constitutional Carry, the right of any law abiding and trained citizen to carry a concealed firearm.   NC's premier gun rights organization, Grassroots North Carolina, has presented a petition to Senate President Phil Berger calling for passage of HB 189, a bill which will implement Constitutional Carry in the state, and whose chief sponsor is Rep. Keith Kidwell.

Last year, HB189 was approved by committee in the House and calendared for passage by the full House, when Senate leader Phil Berger suddenly announced that the bill would be dead in the Senate.  The House then decided not to move forward.  For this year's short session, gun rights advocates are concentrating on Berger and that is who the Grassroots North Carolina petitions were presented to.

North Carolina is poised to be the last state to adopt Constitutional Carry. 30 is a nice round number.
Can't imagine any other state passing it. This will be it. If you can remove your obstruction.

Phil Berger is an Undocumented Democrat who blocks Republican policy like Constitutional Carry, while ramming through Democrat policy like the Green New Deal and the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. He badly needs to be replaced.
