Deere partially surrenders to boycott

Two major companies announced today that they are backing off from DEI, the racist and Marxist program that sets quotas for hiring and promotion based on quotas instead of qualifications.  Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon of the Beatles describes those supporting DEI as "Dumb Evil Idiots".

Robby Starbuck's anti-woke crusade that recently brought down DEI completely at Tractor Suppy was in the early stages of targeting John Deere, and Deere has preemptively abandoned much but not all of the DEI at its compnay.  It has announced it is cutting off funding to gay pride events such as transgender promotions to 3 year olds. taking identity politics out of employee groups and materials, and not insisting on gender identity pronouns at the workplace.  Starbucks says this is only a half measure and called on customers to keep the pressure on..  He is pushing for total eradication as happened at Tractor Supply.

Meanwhile, Microsoft announced that due to "changing busness needs", it had disbanded its corporate DEI team.

Why then, is Beaufort County Community College still stuck in this radical and racist DEI rut?

It appears racism is so fundamental to modern progressivism that they just cannot NOT be a racist. That's why many of us do not want this warped DEI thinking being pushed down our kid's throats.

If folks like B Bob are this guilt ridden maybe they should give to charity or something. Further, counselling may be necessary. Find a pastor, priest, rabbi, shaman, or perhaps a psychiatrist for help.

The reality of racist DEI is that if you are a straight white male Christian at a DEI company, you need not apply. It is all about quotas.

So the boss has two job applications. One submitted by DeShon Williams and the other by James Smith. The two are similar, but not exactly the same. Both are qualified.

Statistically speaking, in 2024, one of these people is much more likely to get an interview. Study after study shows this to be true.

Even if both are interviewed, the boss is far more likely, all things being somewhat equal, to hire the applicant who looks like them, and shares his/her cultural background.

DeShon might be the best at the actual job, but because of racial and cultural differences many employers may not take the time to find out.

In this case, DEI training helps an employer discover their own bias and actually find the best person for the job, may it be James, or DeShon. No quota, just a recognition that bias often plays a disproportional role in the hiring process and teaches strategies to over come it.

Its not racial because we all have bias. A black executive can benefit as well.
