New York Post creates a new political term - Kamunism for Kamala Harris | Eastern North Carolina Now
merger of words "Kamala" and "comunist" in view of her radical economic plan
Kamala Harris seems to want to be Hugo Chavez in a skirt with her new economic policies. She has recently aped the late Venezuelan dictator Chavez by advocating the very same economic policy - price controls - that led to mass shortages and rationing in socialist Venezuela. The very same policies were imposed on Cuba by Fidel Castro, with the same dire results. Kamala Harris seems to want to turn America into Venezuela.
As liberal economist David Friedberg put it "Every soclialist experiment in human history has started with caps on food and ended with bread lines".
The right leaning New York Post, one of the oldest and largest circulation newspapers in the country, was quick to create a new term of Kamala Harris' ideology which they splashed on their front page - Kamunism.

At the Post's ultra-liberal cross town rival, the New York Times, economic columnist David Brooks commented that Harris' price control plan "expresses a level of economic illiterary which is kind of surprising in a responsible Democratic candidate."

Every now and then I'll turn off the snark and be serious.
If you have a 100 jobs, for each job you have two equally qualified applicants. One black, one white. The data shows that about 80% of the time the white guy gets the job. Why? No one would argue that if one is more qualified you hire them, but even in that situation, more whites will still get the job. Why? The military and professional sports are two areas where this might not be true but in many segments of society, it is. Why? |

WOKE - makes up its own fantasy version of "reality".
The WOKE version of "managing the crisis" was to resort to police state tactics, like Minnesota Covid-fascist Tim Walz with his lockdowns and mandates, and even a KGB-style "snitch line" to report freedom-loving souls, and even payments to give experimental vaccines to children. All of this was copying their role model, Red China. The more enlightened states like Florida and South Dakota relied on principles of freedom in dealing with the pandemic, following the example of Sweden, and they all had better results than the totalitarian approach. The main way Covid was used to defeat Trump was the way it was used as an excuse by crooked Democrat lawyers to manipulate voting procedures to make cheating easier. That was totally unnecessary forCovid reasons as both Italy and South Korea held national elections earlier during the height of the pandemic, using all in-person voting with good turnouts and no adverse disease consequences. |

I said Trump did ok with economy, but was too stupid to manage the crisis. It was his election to lose. And he managed to do it. |
