legislation introduced to prohibit FEMA using disaster money for illegal aliens | Eastern NC Now

Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) has introduced legislation to prohibit the federal disaster response agency FEMA from using money appropratied by Congress to settle illegal alien migrants.   FEMA has spent a billion dollars of its funds to pay for services to illegal aliens and that has left it short of funds to deal with its designated function of responsing to natural disasters.  FEMA, which has pre-staged supplies, personnel, and equipment for rapid response to major hurricanes for decades failed to do so for Hurricane Helene because its funds were depleted from paying for illegal alien resettlement.

US Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Alabama) responded to the diversion of emergency response FEMA money to the illegal aliens, with the comment  "people should go to jail, this is treason."
