Constitutional Amendment to ban non-citizens from voting is on NC ballot

At a time when the corrupt Biden-Harris regime is suing states to STOP them from removing illegal aliens and other non-citizens from the voter rolls, even though non-citizens are not eligbile to vote, North Carolina voters will decide at the ballot box on a Constitutional amendment to place this prohibition in our Constitution. That refereendum is on the ballot in the current election.

Passing this amendment is a great way to say "up yours" to Biden - Harris and their crooked DOJ on this issue.

By placing this amendment in the state Constitution, it reaffirms that non-citizens cannot vote in our elections. It also shuts off a loophole that has been opened in other states by prohibiting local governments from allowing non-citizens to vote in their local elections.

This amendment was originally drafted by Rep. Keith Kidwell (R-Beaufort).

It is the Democrats in Congress who are fairly openly plotting an insurrection, hoping to get a Democratic majority to declare Trump inelibigle due to their J6 narrative. Given the coup they have already pulled within their own party to dump Biden for Harris, they are probably not beyond such a coup attampt against Trump. By declaring Trump ineligible that would throw the election to the House of Representatives.

It is the "Democrats" who are the threat to democracy.

While both the US Constitution and state stature already cover this as to state and federal elections, it is helpful to add this to the state constitution. The Biden-Harris DOJ has shown they will support the lawbreaking illegals on this issue, so we need as much teeth at the state level as possible. There is also now nothing to prevent local governments allowing foreign citizens to vote in local elections, and this amendment shuts down that possiblity.

What is really needed from the legislature is draconian criminal statutes to deter the illegal aliens from registering to vote and those who promote it. An illegal alien registering to vote should be made a felony with a significant minimum sentence. Anyone assisting an illegal alien to register to vote should have an even more serious felony charge, with a very lengthy minimum sentence and a massive fine.
