Thom Tillis backed unqualified Biden appointees but pans Trump picks | Eastern NC Now
Tillis is an Undocumented Democrat and needs a primary
Thom Tillis takes very different positions on major Democrat administration appointments compared to his position on such appointments from an administration of his own party. When it came to Democrats, Tillis was quick to say he thought presidents should have the team they want and openly praised appointees like Merick Garland who turned out to be partisan hacks who abused their offices. When it comes to Republican appointees, Tillis is qucik to tell the national media he is not happy with some of them. He may even fail to support some.
Tillis had no problem when Biden appointed a guy with an undergraduate degree in music and a graduate degree in sociology as Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors. Neither did he raise a peep about Biden's unqualified DEI hires both in his cabinet and in senior sub-cabinet positions. Now he wants to quibble about Trump picks who are head and shoulders above Biden's appointees on qualifications.
