Georgia public universities ban DEI in admissions, require learning Constitution | Eastern NC Now

follow trend across the country to end DEI

ENCNow

The Board of Regents of the public universities of Georgia, which govern 26 colleges and universities, has voted to ban use of DEI in admissions and hiring.  This follows a trend that has been developing around the country.

The Board also made learning the US Constitution and other founding documents required knowledge for graduation, and added required training in freedom of expression to student orientation.

Unfortunately, here in Beaufort County, the Beaufort County Community College still uses the Marxist and racist DEI.

The lame duck Biden regime at the federal level is still promoting DEI, with the word "equity", a term they use to mean the Marxist concept of equality of result, appearing 829 times in the budget request of the Department of HHS.  In that department last year there were 298 jobs in DEI, with 247 of them at salaries over $100,000.

Conservatives want society to be color blind, just as Dr. Martin LUther King did. It is the left which is hung up on race. And it is YOUR Democrat Party that gave us Jim Crow. All of the Democrats in the legislature voted for Jim Crow and all the Republicans and Populists voted AGAINST it. DEI and Jim Crow have a lot in common. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Very few will go back to the racist policies you favor. Regard less of DEI.

Good for Georgia! When will those woke fools at Beaufort County Community College wise up and dump DEI?
