A new poll conducted by YouGov for CBS News finds that 59% of Americans approve of President Trump's transition process.  55% said they were happy with Trump's election victory and 83% said his election was legitimate.  In a sign of a growing American spirit of optimism, 61% said America's best days were either now or in the future while 39% said they were in the past.

Then you have New York where a state senator is calling for secession and joining Canada. The last time anyone tried that up there was 1861 when the mayor of New York City called for the city to secede from both the United States and New York state.

As long as the tural parts of the state were allowed to stay, I would say good riddance and let them go. Ditto California.
