"It's time to get real about climate change" a prominent Polish podcaster recently proclaimed. He did not advocate following the Greta Thunberg path but just the opposite. With Poland's presidential election upcoming, he urged the presidential candidate of the populist nationalist consevative Law and Justice Party to openly oppose the onerous Green Deal of the EU in his election campaign.
He pointed how other European leaders were comprehending how the Green Deal was negatively impacting their economies and that questioning "utopian" climate goals was now mainstream in Europe. "The climate around climate change is changing" he asserted.
He cited the current Czech prime minister, who is from the traditional conservative Civic Democrats, recent statement that the EU's climate goals are contrary to the development of the European economy and threaten the prosperity of its inhabitants. Also cited was one of Germany's leading economists who said that the "utopian" climate goals could only be achieved at the cost of deindustrialization.
His main focus however was current German politics where the populist conservative AfD is openly challenging the EU climate mandates in its plaform and doing well with voters as a result. The AfD is now running a close second to the tradtional conservative CDU which is in first place and continually moving closer to the AfD on climate policy. He noted that in fact in Germany's upcoming election, only the leftwing Green Party is still campaigning on supporting the EU Green Deal. It is running in single digits in the polls.
The point raised was that with strident climate policies floundering with voters in Europe, the Law and Justice Party needed to ride opposition to them as one of its key issues. Green parties across the continent took a severe beating in the EU parliament elections earlier this year while populist parties of the right made major gains.

The power of the pushback against green extremism was shown on our own continent in the last provincial election in the Canadian province of Ontario, where newly chosen Conservative Party leader Doug Ford made opposition to the green energy policies of the governing Liberal Party a key focus of his campaign. That focus resulted in the biggest landslide in Canadian history, flipping a 2 to 1 Liberal over Conservative majority to a 10 to 1 Conservative over Liberal majority. The first act of the new Conservative provincial premier Doug Ford was to cancel all wind and solar permit applications then in the pipeline and restore local govenrment authority to black those projects, which the Liberals had taken away. The Conservative majority then repealed the Green Energy Act.
The podcaster could also have pointed out how unreliable and expensive wind and solar energy is not working out very well for those countries that went hog wild on it and their consumers:

The UK is now rivalling Germany on switching to wind and solar and is now passing Germany for the record of highest utility prices in the world, a position Germany gained soon after Merkel's Energy Transition took hold.

To LIttle Bobbie, the word "true" as he uses it means "consistent with the far left narrative". His blanket denials of things do not even attempt to set out any basis for those denials because there is none.
|
Not even close to true.

As Americans' trust in big media is in the toilet and the bowl is swirling, they should realize that most of what they have heard on the fake "climate crisis" has been liberal media brainwashing.

Under our Constitution, treaties are supposed to go to the Senate for 2/3rds approval. Obama acted unconstitutionally by unilaterally obligating the US to this travesty without sending it to the senate. So did Biden when he revived it. This treaty screws the US and is a sweetheart deal for China, and generally screws consumers to bow down to a cult. It needs to be killed for good ASAP and the best way is for Trump to send it to the senate for what it is, a teaty, and let the senate refuse to ratify it. That would stop any future president from doing what Biden did.
|
Just sayin. You do it, take the credit.
Sounds like you want to kill the treaty, then when it doesn’t work out, blame Obama. Bhahahahaha |
Looks like Bobbie is a pro-China troll. One of the most ludicrous parts of that Paris Climate Treaty (and it IS a treaty and needs to go the the Senate for approval) allows the country with the largest manufacturing base in the world, China, to be treated like a Third World pauper so that it pays in almost no money even though it is the world's biggest emitter of CO2. Uncle Sugar, on the other hand, has to borrow billions to pass around. This is an extremely flawed treaty that gives the ChiComs an unjustified sweetheart deal. We need to get out of it ASAP.
|
Yes he will. No doubt. All of us need to remember it. Print it in the history books now. It will be his and the MAGA legacy.
Everyone needs to know. |
President Trump is going to change the climate on climate change here in the US. Getting us out of the absurd Paris Climate Accords is a key, and it hopefully will be done by declaring it a treaty, which it is, that must have Senate approval. It is an outrage that Obama and then Biden put us into this mousetrap by executive action without Senate approval.
