NC Supreme Court race: 1,193 more ballots counted than people voted, 734 winning margin | Eastern NC Now

will we get a new election?

ENCNow

A significant discrepancy in ballots counted has emerged in the NC Supreme Court race. Statistics from the NC Board of Elections show that there were 1.193 more ballots counted than there were people who voted.  The difference between the candidates is 734 votes.  There are also 25 instances discovered in which one person voted twice and both ballots were counted.

This is on top of some county elections boards allowing felons and dead people's votes to be counted.  The Beaufort County Board of Elections disqualified the one local person caught voting twice and the five felons who illegally voted in early voting.

There are also lots of other problems including thousands of people allowed to do same day registration during early voting without providing the drivers license number or last four of social security number that are required by federal law, and the hundreds of overseas voters whose ballots were counted in spite of not providing the photo ID required by state law.  Many of those were also allowed to register improperly.

Given that the new election ordered over the ballot harvesting in an NC Congressional district a few years ago when the ballot harvesting accounted for fewer votes than the winning margin, this supreme court race would seem to be ripe for having a new election ordered.

There is also a serious conflict of interest of one of the NC Board of Elections members in that her husband is attorney for the Democrat candidate in the disputed Supreme Court race.  She has not yet recused herself.

Given how screwed up our state Board of Elections has become under 8 years of Democrat control, it is no wonder that the legislature has moved it from the governor's office to the state auditor, where it will be under Republican control. Now finally, we can hope they will comply with federal election laws that are designed to promote election integrity and make cheating harder.

That Democrat member of the state Board of Elections whose husband is the attorney for the Democrat candidate in that disputed Supreme Court race has still not recused herself despite her blatant and obvious conflict of interest. This shows the total lack of integrity and honesty by the Democrats on that board, meaning it will probably have to move to the courts for honest relief. That board member is an attorney nerself and should understand ethics, but ethics means nothing to Democrats. Hopefully, an ethics complaint will be filed against her with the NC State BAr. She does nto deserve a law license.
