Biden moves to sabotage Trump energy agenda, keep gas prices high | Eastern North Carolina Now

Biden is known for his anti-energy policies that have caused a big increase in gas prices. Now, as a lame duck he is moving to try to sabotage Trump's efforts to increase energy production and reduce gas prices. High energy prices translate to an increase in overall inflation because energy is a component of the price of just about everything.
Biden is trying to permanently remove much of our offshore waters from oil and gas production in a way that would make it very difficult for Trump to easily fix. Meanwhile, Biden encourages more offshore wind development which kills whales, other marine mammals and sea birds and destroys the commercial fishing industry, while producing extremely expensive and unreliable power.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Trump won more decisively than Biden did. The Politbureau that pulls Biden's strings thought they had a mandate to take the country hard left, and even after being rebuked by the voters they just have kept going with that radical agenda.

Harris DEM 9,049 34.05% These vote totals are what comprise a landslide, and they are not lost on me, or my estimate of what my constituents expect out of their local government. |
