While LA burns, California legislature approves $25M to fight Trump policies | Eastern NC Now

misplaced priorities

ENCNow

Los Angeles is burning in horrific wildfires made worse by inane and incompetent policies of both city and state government.  The legislature has gone into special session.  Are they addressing the wildfires and trying to fix their screwed up policies that have made this fire worse?  NO, they are passing a $25 Million special appropriation asked for by far left Governor Newsome to fight policies of the incoming Trump administration.

How completely tone deaf these Democrat politicians are.  Political battles like this should be be charged to the taxpayer in the first place, but when most citizens are worried about the fate of one of the state's largest cities is not the time to be playing these partisan political games.

All I know is that before Giuliani was mayor, I did not feel safe on the subway. Before Rudi I dreaded Penn Station. After Rudi, traveling in New York City was a pleasure. LA seems to be in a similar pre-Rudi situation. Blue state politics = disaster.

And now?

Rudi did a great job as Mayor of New York City, far superior to that incompetent boob Karen Bass in Los Angeles.

When I see the way Democrats govern, I am more inclined to think a mix of Stalin and Bozo the Clown.

It appears the California Democrats see Trump as the emergency instead of the wildfires.

This global warming propaganda falls apart when you look at the facts. There has been NO INCREASE in acreage burned in wildfires globally in recent years. In fact, it has declined. Some of them have happened in areas that get more attention, and the globalist propagandists on the MSM have used that to distort reality.
