New York Post calls for big tech to block Wikipedia over bias and censorship | Eastern NC Now

badly biased to the left

ENCNow

Several years ago, the co-founder of Wikipedia warned that Wikipedia had become "badly biased to the left" after those who currently run it deleted all of the mechanisms that were supposed to keep it neutral and objective.  More recently, it has emerged that the Soros network has buried itself deep into the innter workings of Wikipedia.

Now, the New York Post, one of America's largest and oldest newspapers, has published an editorial calling for big tech to block Wikipedia due to ideological censorship and Wikipedia's own promotion of leftist disinformation.

"For Wikipedia, 'true' is now synonimous with 'left wing'", the editorial declared. "The slant is unquestionable."   The Post focused on Wikipedia's blacklist that does not allow its page writers to cite conservative leaning sources like Fox News or even the Post itself but allows some really sketchy far left sources to be cited.

The New York Post may have just noticed this severe bias problem at Wikipedia but others have denounced it much earlier, like this CBS News article from 2008:

In the two weeks of trump virtually nothing has changed yet, except the prices of everything have begun to go up. It will take some time for the economy to react to all this but it will.
Time will tell as to which direction. Hope it’s good.

Made a ton under JB and the retirement account is fat.

Big Bob: One thing I do learn from your comments is that you Leftists cannot do simple math.

When Biden left, the economy was drowning in debt with a massive budget deficit as well as a huge trade deficite. OUr national debt doubled under Biden and as a percent of GNP it was getting to be borderline unsustainable. Employment numbers were cooked and they constantly had to be revised downward by a lot at a later point. New jobs were mostly part time or for illegal aliens, and among American citizens the percentage in the workforce declined. Indlation skyrocketed. No, the economy was most definitely NOT in good shape. Another four years of that and we would resemble what Germany went through in 1923.

Let's just see how this shakes out.

OUr country has a crushing level of debt that doubled under Biden and threatens our economy. We simply have to get spending under control. DOGE under Musk is a great effort to identify wasteful and unnecessary spending so we can eliminate it to get our national budget in order.

Wikipedia, however, is not a federal government operation so it is not part of what DOGE is looking at. It is very clearly biased and should be avoided if people want accurate information.

WE should get rid of anything president Musk disagree with. That's the best option. What could go wrong?
