African president is second foreign leader to support Trump's closure of USAID | Eastern NC Now

Rwanda's president joins that of El Salvador

ENCNow

A second foreign president has now come out in support of President Trump's actions regarding USAID.   The first was El Salvadot's popular conservative President Bukele who blasted the USAID leadership for using its funds to try to undermine foreign leaders who were not aligned with the globalist agenda.

Bukele has now been joined by Rwanda's President Kagame.  USAID has been by far the largest provider of foreign assistance to his country.  President Kagama stunned a CNN interviewer when he said he "completely agreed" with President Trump's actions on USAID.

Meanshile, as Democrats gnash their teeth over the closure of their former slush fund, USAID,  Republicans in Congress are having a field day pushing back:

Some still remember a show down in 2005 between Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) and a stonewalling USAID.  Boring through the resistance from USAID administrators, Sen. Coburn was able to establish that USAID was the funding source for a pro-prostitution NGO in India called SANGRAM through a pass through organization called Avert that had been set up for them by four USAID employees.  SANGRAM was the organization that blocked  efforts by a UN agency to rescue Indian girls who had been kidnapped into prostitution. and they were funded by USAID.

I suspect that if more national leaders were asked about it, like this president was, the media would find a lot more support. Our embassies have been complaining that much of the stuff theat USAID has been funding lately has been upsetting host governments.
