new Wikileaks bombshell: half BILLION $$ more USAID spent on censorship | Eastern NC Now

Wikileaks has dropped a new bombshell report on USAID funded efforts to promote leftwing media and censor right leaning media.  It has exposed another organization funded by USAID to the tune of almost Half a Billion dollars that worked to undermine democracy by pushing media in one political direction. This is in addtion to other efforts by USAID that had previously been exposed to promote leftwing media and censor conservative media.

The organization newly exposed by Wikileaks is called "Internews Network" and it was founded and run by Jeanne Bourgault, a former USAID country administrator for Russia who has paid hersalf $451,000 per year salary in her new gig.  Since being outed by Wikileaks, the listed head office of Internews Network appears abandoned and its internet presence has been scrubbed.  While the organization has received some funding from Soros and other far left groups, 95% of its funds have come from the US taxpayer through USAID.  That USAID funding has totalled $472.6 Million.

Internews Network has been working both sides of the street.  It promotes and assists leftwing media and brags that it has assisted 4,291 media outlets.  It also promotes censorship of conservative media. Part of its censorship strategy is to pressure advertisers to send their advertising dollars only to approved (left leaning) media so that they can starve conservative media out of existance.

Bourgault is a devout globalist and frequent participant at WEF globalist confabs at Davos.  At last year's WEF Davos conference, she spoke at one of their sessions advocating pressuring advertisers to pull their dollars off of unapproved (conservative) media.  Here is Bourgalut at Davos:
