Trump rolls back Biden regulations on home applicances, light bulbs | Eastern NC Now
lifting the burden of overregulation
Under the Biden regime, numerous regulations were imposed regarding home appliances and even light bulbs that made appliances much more expensive to consumers and often less efficient at doing the job they were intended for. It was all part of Biden's quixotic climate crusade, but took a bite out of consumers wallets. An example is one of his last set of regulations that outlawed most in-line gas water heaters, even though they are much more efficient than traditional tank water heaters. Apparently the reasoning was because they were operated by gas instead of electricity.
Now, President Trump has freed consumers and the American economy from these nanny-state regulations. At one stroke, he has rolled them all back. Freedom of choice is being restored to consumers and manufacturers.
