Iowa legislature deletes "transgenders" as protected class after Capitol stormed | Eastern NC Now

correct mistake from 2007

ENCNow

Iowa is finally correcting a mistake it made in 2007 to include "transgenders" as a protected class under civil rights laws.  This had allowed courts to force the state to let them into the bathrooms of the opposite sex and also into the prisons of the opposite sex.  Both houses of the Iowa legislature have passed legislation by significant margins to remove this civil rights protection to those suffering from gender dysphoria, a mental health condition where they think they are of the opposite sex.

The trannies did not take it lying down, however.  They stomred the Iowa state capitol.  One wonders why they were not prosecuted like those who stormed the US Capitol on January 6.

Why should a mental health conditiion EVER be a protected class? What group will they protect next? Kleptomaniacs? Pyromaniacs? At least Iowa finally comprehended how stupid this was and ended it.
