Border czar Homan explains how Biden & Mayorkas created border crisis on purpose | Eastern NC Now

Border Czar Tom Homan appeared on the Stephen A. Smith podcast and explained why it is clear that Biden and his DHS created the border crisis and the flood of illegal aliens on purpose.  He explained that they had both served in the Obama administration and observed how that administration kept control of the border so they did the exact opposite.

Homan explained that there were even more removals of illegal aliens under Obama than under Trump's first term.  Under Obama, DHS built enough facilities to hold illegal aliens long enough to get them before an immigration judge.  Since most asylum cliams are bogus, 90% of them were denied.  Those 90% were then immediately put on a plane back home.  That policy meant that word got out that it was difficult to get into the US and that discouraged migrants from coming.

Trump extended this deterrant with his remain in Mexico policy, which further discoraged migrants from trying to come.

When Biden put Mayorkas in charge, he upended the policies of both Trump and Obama, ended the "remain in Mexico" policy, and moved to "catch and release".  Illegal aliens, 90% of  them with bogus asylum claims and unvetted on background were simply given a notice to appear in a court years later and released into the country.  This created a massive pull factor, as would be expected, and encouraged a flood of illegal laliens from all over the world.  "They did the complete opposite of what they knew worked under Obama," Homan said.
