Wall Street Journal: How the lights went out in Spain. it's spelled S-O-L-A-R power | Eastern NC Now

US should heed this warming and ditch unreliable wind and solar before we start having blackouts.

The cheerleaders of "green energy" namely the Climate Industrial Complex grifters, Democrats, and RINOs should study what just happened in Spain and Portugal because they are pushing the same policies here that caused an electric grid collapse.  That led to a total blackout in Spain and Portugal.  The leader of Spain's populist nationalist Vox Party demanded an end to "climate fanaticism".

The Wall Street Journal has just published an excellent piece entitled "How the Lights Went Out in Spain."  They explain that an over reliance on expensive and unreliable solar energy is what caused the grid collapse and resulting blackout.

What the Spanish Socialists did to their power grid is the same thing that the Obama regime appropriated large sums for here in the US in  their "green new deal" mislabeled as an "inflation reduction act".  The Trump administration is now trying https://graduados.unitepc.edu.bo/ to drive a stake through the heart of this monster.  It is also the policy pushed by Roy Cooper and by NC's "woke" electric monopoly Duke Energy.  Unfortunately, it became law in NC in the Senate rewrite of HB951 thanks to the perennial sellout RINO Senate boss Phil Berger.

Amazingly, one of those in Europe who has woken up to the harm to society from "green" energy is former UK Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair.   Blair's think tank has just put out a major report denouncing his own party's "Net Zero CO2" program which wants to jam wind and soalr down the UK's throat.
