Sec. of State Rubio stands strong against global censorship complex | Eastern NC Now

globalists want to crush freedom of speech

ENCNow

Renowned George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, who is well known for his strong support of freedom of speech, has published a column praising Secretary of State Marco Rubio for his robust defense of freedom of speech.  Rubio recently adopted a policy of denying visas to visit the United States to foreign citizens engaged in promoting censorship of citizens' speech.

This comes as America itself, just narrowly escaped the machinations of the Biden regime against freedom of speech.  Now America is taking the initiative to support freedom of speech around the world.

Some of the worst offenders are the European Union and some of the nations within it which are taking a neo-fascist position of suppressing free speech.  Recently, the unelected and undemocratic Eurocrats of the European Commission demanded that Finland and Ireland ramp up their censorship laws or face penalties.  Ireland's globalist government already tried that last year and got furious pushback from citizens, so they backed off.  Finland's censorship laws are already so tight that a member of parliament and former cabinet minister has been vigorously prosecuted for posting a Bible verse online.

The EU is trying to expand the reach of its neo-fascist internet censorship law, the Digital Services Act outside the EU, including to American big tech companies, which it is threatening with massive fines if they do not censor the way the Eurocrats want.  The US may need more than visa denial to push back on that totalitarian threat to our freedom.  We may need to start indicting EU officials under our federal felony statute for conspiring against the civil rights of our citizens.

Here is an example of the lack of free speech in today's Europe:
