USAID corruption: 4 plead guilty in $550 Million USAID bribery scheme | Eastern NC Now

Since the Obama era, USAID has been transformed into a cesspool of political corruption and misuse of money.  Much of it was political hanky panky to push the woke agenda, but some of it was just plain old fashioned graft and corruption.  fortunately for taxpayers, a review by DOGE has upended the corrupt USAID apple cart.  DOGE's findings have led not only to mass recisions of grants and contracts, and the termination of the agency itself, but also criminal investigations.  The first of those criminal investigations has already come to fruition.  

A USAID official and three corporate executives have entered guilty pleas to bribery.   Over a period of years, the USAID official was paid a million dollars in bribes to secure grants from USAID for $550 Million in projects.  One https://www.ijocta.org/ wonders how much more of this corruption will get exposed.  There is probably little chance of taxpayers getting their $550 Million back, so hopefully these scoundrels will spend a lot of time in prison.
