Net Zero is political loser in Europe, but Tillis and RINOs still push it here | Eastern NC Now

Tillis is still trying to defend Biden's "Inflation Reduction (green new deal) Act"

ENCNow

Liberal "Republican" US Senator Thom Tillis has demanded that Biden's expensive climate alarmist green energy subsidies be kept, not ended as the House version of the Big Beautiful Bill would do, with a few other leftist Republicans supporting him. The Senate version so far allows at least some of these wasteful subsidies to remain.  Even the political committee of Mike Pence wants the full cuts to Biden's green boondoggle, as passed by the House, confirmed in the Senate.  Even Pence wants the Green New Deal ended totally.

In Europe, the "Green" political parties were hardest hit in last year's EU parliament election, losing the most seats of any ideological bloc.  In Germany's Bundestag election earlier this year, 60% of voters supported parties hostile to "green" policies. In the UK, the only party that wants to totally gut their "net zero CO2" policies, the Reform Party won a landslide in local elections this year, trouncing the major traditional parties.  Now Reform Party leader Nigel Farage says that the opposition to Net Zero and its enormous costs to average people, is so powerful an issue, it will propel his party into a majority in parliament, calling it "the next Brexit".  France's parliament has just voted to put a stop to wind and solar development and focus on nuclear instead.

Lets not forget that RINO Phil Berger gave us the NC Green New Deal with a cram down rewrite in the senate in order to pander to Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper, "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy, and the solar and wind grifters, and Little Timmy Moore helped him cram it through the House.

Tillis is worthless. He has been in the pocket of the wind / solar grifters since he was in the NC House, a special interest asset. He does not represent the people of North Carolina. He is also looking out for his own pocketbook because he owns a good bit of stock in a small bank in Mecklenburg County that specializes in lending to the wind and solar boondogglers.

Don Brown for US Senate in GOP primary 2026. He's one of us.
