RINOs Berger and Rabon make dirty attack on our seafood industry | Eastern NC Now

When you go out for seafood, do you want fresh local seafood you can trust or do you want shrimp raised on a farm in China under unknown conditions?  I think most of us would rather have the fresh local seafood.  Unfortunately a group of despicable RINOs led by Sen. Bill Rabon and greenlighted by Senate bully-boy boss Phil Berger are trying to cut off our fresh local seafood by banning shrimp trawling in the sounds of eastern North Carolina, where most of our local seafood comes from.  They are doing this at the behest of a radical leftwing environmental organization, the CCA.

Most appalling is the dirty power politics they are using to try to ram this through.  Instead of introducing a bill months ago where it could work through the legislative process and both sides could be heard, that used a last minute amendment in committee and took it straight to the floor, where nobody had an opportunity to be heard.  This dirty legislative process is condemned in the state Republican platform, but these despicable Undocumented Democrats Rabon and Berger engaged in it against the interests of our NC seafood industry and seafood lovers.

Now it is up to the House to stop this tyrannical madness of Berger and Rabon.

Berger used exactly the same tactics to ram through at the last minute a total rewrite of HB951 to give us NC's Green New Deal.  Berger and Rabon are Biden "Republicans".

Fortunately, it is believed that Rabon may not run again.  Good riddance to a low life politician.  Berger is being challenged in his primary by Rockingham County Sheriff Sam Page, and the polls show Page 15 points ahead.  Hopefully we will see Berger go down to a well deserved primary defeat, too.

With "Republicans" like Bill Rabon and Phil Berger, who even needs Democrats?  Phil Berger is so bad that he almost makes one wish we had Marc Basnight back.  Basnight would not have done this dirty dirty trick to our local seafood industry.
