Go "woke", go broke, but go anti-woke get rich - Bud Lite vs. Synday Sweeney jeans | Eastern NC Now

smart companies will ditch the "woke"

ENCNow

There has been a saying recently that "get woke, go broke", but it is becoming equally clear that going anti-woke can make a company a lot of money.  A good contrast is what happened with Bud Light compared to recently with Sydney Sweeney's jeans ad.

Bud Light saw both its beer sales and its overall company stock price crater after its inane ad with a "transgender" and they still have not even come close to recovering from that debacle.  On the other hand, when the "woke" left went ballistic against the advertising campaign for American Eagle Jeans by Sydney Sweeney, sales skyrocketed and so did the company's stock price.
