Senate RINOs move to protect green energy grifters, sell out the GOP base | Eastern NC Now

The corrupt Green New Deal has its advocates among RINOs as well as among Democrats, sadly.  Thom Tillis has been one of them.  He objected to Trump's Big Beautiful Bill because it cut the outrageous giveaways Biden had given to the wind and solar grifters.

Now two more of these traitors have raised their ugly heads. RINO Senators John Curtis (Utah) and Chuck Grassley (Iowa) have actually put a Senate hold on three of President Trump's Treasury Department appointees to try to force Trump to give more money to the "green energy" boondoggle.  This is a stab in the back to President Trump to benefit Biden policy.  Both of these despicable scoundrels need primaries.

RINOs in the Senate had already watered down the takeaways from the wind and solar grifters that the House put in the Big Beautiful Bill.  Liberal Curtis was a player in that pro-Democrat action, but this is the first time Grassley has been openly involved.  Grassley is ancient and unlikely to run again, but Curtis is a first termer in a conservative state, and he badly needs to be replaced.  

Wind and solar are expensive and unreliable.  Dependence on them as power sources recently led to nationwide blackouts in Spain and Portugal, and has driven up electric rates in many countries.  Germans, for example pay three times as much for electricity as North Carolinians as a result of Merkel's Energy Transition to wind and solar.
