ORIGINAL POST:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has scored a major victory in court against the "fleebagger" runway Texas Democrat legislators who are playing hooky our of state to try to stop Governor Abbot from un-gerrymandering Texas' Congressional districts.  In a lawsuit filed by Paxton against the PAC paying the Democrats out of state expenses, which is affiliated with "Beto" O'Rourk and with Soros, a Texas judge has issued an injunction ordering the PAC to stop paying for the expenses of the runaway Democrats until the case is fully heard.

Paxton's case argues that under Texas law a PAC raising campaign funds to pay the personal expenses of elected officials is illegal.  While not at issue in this civil case, it has also pointed out that this can be criminally prosecuted as bribery, a felony, both on those giving the funds and those receiving them.

This comes as the House speaker has cut off the fleebagger Democrats from being paid any salary or expenses.  Arrest warrants for failing to do their duties by showing up for work at the legislature have also been issued.

At issue are five Democrat held Congressional seats that had been gerrymandered in the last redistricting on the theory that states were required to gerrymander to create "minority coalition" districts.  Federal courts have since ruled in a case from Galveston that such districts are not required under the Voting Rights Act, so Texas wants to un-gerrymander them.

Texas Governor Abbot has pointed out that if the Democrats want to play hardball, there are three more Democrat districts he could flip by gerrynamdering if he wanted to.

Paxton is great as AG. No wonder the Democrats and RINOs have always tried to put a target on his back. He will be a great US Senator from Texas, much better than that RINO weasel John Cornyn, who Paxton is leading in the polls for the primary.
