Europe's top user of coal also has the continent's cleanist air - EU agency | Eastern NC Now

this is a lesson for the US and North Carolina

ENCNow

Climate alarmists and other environmental extremists in America demand we stop using coal because they claim it pollutes.  A recent study by a European Union agency refutes that clap-trap.  They found that the European country that by far uses the most coal also has the continent's cleanist air.

Poland has long been Europe's largest user of coal, mostly to make electricity. In fact, together with the second largest user, next door Germany, they use 2/3rds of all the coal used in all of Europe.  Yet a study by EU agency Eurostat has found that Poland has the cleanest air in all of Europe.

In Germany, a major labor union has just joined the CEO of Mercedes Benz in calling for the government to end its policies of reducing CO2 because those policies are destroying the German economy.

This is a lesson for America.  President Trump is trying to defend use of coal, which Biden and his regime tried to do everything to destroy.  America has huge coal reserves for energy.

It is also a lesson for North Carolina, where Democrat governors and RINO legislators have worked together against use of coal to make our energy.  Coal is cheap and dependable, unlike wind and solar which are expensive and undependable.  RINOs Phil Berger and Timmy Moore rammed Roy Cooper's pet legislation to phase out coal for electricity in our state, HB951.  Berger and Moore are little more than Undocumented Democrats.

If you like high electric rates, you will love the Democrats and RINOs and their War on Coal. HB951 was a travesty, and backstabbing Phil Berger pandering to Roy Cooper and to the woke utility monopoly Duke Energy is why it was foisted upon us in a last minute cram down.
