New York Post editorial - "Rising sea hysteria debunked" | Eastern NC Now

but "climate change" cult won't care

ENCNow

The New York Post has published an excellent editorial pointing to a peer reviewed scientific study on sea level changes based on actual recorded facts, not the computer models that the climate alarmist cult prefers.  The actual facts debunk the computer model theory of alleged sea level rise due to "climate change".

Here is the actual peer-reviewed article the Post referred to:

And here is another article on the subject:

This is not the first scientific article published where scientists found that the actual facts debunked the climate alarmist theory on "sea level rise".  The UN's IPCC had made the Pacific island nations of Tuvalu and Kiribati the poster children for its "sea level rise" screed, saying they would be the first to disappear in rising seas.  However when Australian scientists decided to measure how much the islands were shrinking, they found out that just the opposite was happening.  Because those islands had been fought over in World War II, there were lots of WWII aerial photographs of the islands coastlines.  Comparing those photos with current ones, they found that most of the islands had increased in size, not decreased.

One can also look back in human history to see that Earth's warming cycles do not produce significant sea level rise.   The centuries long Medieval Warm Period, when temperatures were warmer than today produced no such sea level rise, and where coastal cities and coastlines were during that period are very well recorded.  Farther back during the Holocene Maximum, when the climate was much warmer than today for 3,000 years, that coincided with the heyday of ancient Greek civilization, and again it is well known where coastal settlements were in that period and there is nothing in the record to indicate any significant "sea level rise".

It is most likely that the climate crazies are simply lying, something they are very prone to do.

I think it is more likely that the land is sinking, or rotting away.
However I dont have the facts, sooooo...

Facts don't matter to those obsessed with the cult of Climate Scientology. Their scripture is rigged computer models. They rig the model so it will give the result that "proves" their theory.

One Climate Scientology throry that was put out some years ago was that all of the beaches around the world would be gone by 2024. It is now 2025. Has anyone checked Nags Head or Atlantic Beach lately? In fact has ANY beach anywhere disappeared?

The sea is rising, but slowly. I have lived long enough to notice that it has risen 7 to 10 inches here in Beaufort County since I was a surveyor here back in the mid seventies.

A mini ice age, which the tail end of which was occurring still in my youth, could change all of that quickly.
