"transgender" insanity gets Virginia school board sued over locker room incident | Eastern NC Now

Rigid adherence to radical gender ideology has gotten a local school board in Virginia sued.  Under their "woke" diktat, students were supposed to undress in school locker rooms in the presence of students of the opposite sex.

The case arose from an incident at Stone Bridge High School in Loudon County, Virginia, in the male locker room where a biological female student was allowed to be present while male students undressed.  The female student even filmed the boys undressing on her cell phone.

Three boys complained, two Christians and a Muslim.  The complaints of the two Christians were deemed by the "woke" school authorities as "sexual harassment" and they were suspended from school.  The Muslim was originally charged, too, but that was dropped.  The parents of one of the Christians moved him to a more sane school.

Now, two conservative legal foundations have taken up the case and are suing Loudon County Schools on behalf of the student victims under the Virginia Religious Freedom Restoration Act and federal anti-discrimination laws.  The suit is filed in federal court and seeks money damages and other relief against the school system.

Loudon County Schools policies on radical gender ideology has led to problems before.  A dress wearing boy allowed in girls restrooms, sexually assaulted a female student in a restroom, was punished by moving him to a different school, and he did the same thing again there.

Meanwhile, the Democrat candidate for governor of Virginia, Abigail Spanberger has refused to say if she thinks biological boys should be allowed in girls locker rooms and restrooms in public schools.
