More totalitarian "hate speech" blather
Freedom of speech and our precious First Amendment is under serious attack in Gavin Newsome's Peoples Republic of California. The Democrats is their legislature have passed a bill that is awaiting Newsome signing it into law that would impose million dollar fines on social media companies that refuse to censor content that California censors deem "hate speech". The term "hate speech" is a bit of Orwellian Newspeak used by far left totalitarians who hate FREE speech.
The leftwing Democrats said that wanted to stop "hate crimes involving anti-immigrant slurs." This is following the totalitarian path of Europe where a French senator was charged with "hate speech" for posting online "immigration kills" after a particularly brutal rape and murder of a young French girl by an illegal alien. The law does nothing to stop violent rhetoric by the left against conservatives and Republicans, of course.
The morons in California also apparently cannot read. Federal law, known as the United States Code, limits the term "immigrant" to ONLY those who are properly and lawfully going through the legal immigration process. The border jumpers that the California Democrats want to pander to, on the other hand are defined in federal law as "illegal aliens".
If someone in North Carolina posts something California censors do not like on a North Carolina website, will the California Communists try to go after that website?
Maybe we just need to sell California back to Mexico, or heck even cede the hellhole to North Korea.
