Wall Street Journal editorial: Democrats' High Energy Prices Hit Home | Eastern NC Now

Democrats' cult worship of climate alarmism, or as some call it Climate Scientology, is pushing up energy prices for consumers and they are getting the fallout from it. That is particularly showing up in the New Jersey election.  Now, the Wall Street Journal has a good editorial on the subject:

Residential electric rates have increased nationally over the past five years by 32%, and in Democrat run states, where climate alarmist has been pushed even farther, the cost is higher.  In New Jersey, it is 53% and California 63%.  This has largely been a result of Democrats pushing to close cheap and dependable coal power plants and replace them with expensive and unreliable wind and solar.   The Biden regime made an absolute religion out of this crusade.  The Trump administration is working to turn that around, but it cannot be done overnight.

A huge solar energy plant in California, given $1.2 billion by Obama is an example of Democrat energy boondoggles.  It was intended to last 50 years but is closing after just 10 after failing to produce the amount of electricity claimed.
