UK weather office caught making up fake data for its climate change predictions | Eastern NC Now

The weather bureau in the UK is called the Meteorological Office or Met Office for short, and it is up to its eyeballs in climate alarmism and dire warnings associated with that theory.  It has also just been caught by a researcher in using made up fake data for its predictions.

In a recent report warning of drastic "climate change", the Met Office cited data from 302 weather stations around the country.  Some had clear integrity problems like thermometers in the middle of a heat generating source like a parking lot or solar panel farm.  Most glaring however was that 103 of the 302 weather stations do not even exist.  They all did at one time, but had closed years or even decades earlier.  Yet the Met Office cited made up "data" from these 103 non-existent weather stations in their report.

This reminds one of the Climategate emails from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, where it was discovered that climate alarmist scientists there had doctored an important set of historical weather records to make them fit the climate alarmist theory, and it appeared that the correct undoctored records no longer even existed.  Those emails were also the source of the "Hide the Decline" admonition from American climate alarmist leader Dr. Michael Mann.
