More Multiple 1st Degree Burglaries Solved | Eastern North Carolina Now

Jeffery Wayne Campbell Jr
    On September 24, 2013 at approximately 1:02 am, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Burglary in progress at a residence on Main Street in Chocowinity. Deputies responded and discovered that the victims woke up to find an unknown male inside their residence. The suspect fled the area and Deputies began a search. During the search, Deputies discovered that other residences, buildings, and vehicles had been broken into on 2nd Street, Jones Circle and Bragaw Lane in Chocowinity. Multiple items were stolen from the home on Main Street including a shotgun and ammunition.

    Investigators and Deputies processed the scenes for evidence and identified a possible suspect. Investigators conducted interviews and located the stolen property at a residence on Barnes Drive in Chocowinity. As a result, Investigator Scott Williams arrested Jeffery Wayne Campbell Jr, age 17, of Barnes Drive in Chocowinity and charged him with two (2) counts of First Degree Burglary, two (2) counts of Felonious Breaking and Entering, one (1) count of Larceny of a Firearm, five (5) counts of Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle, four (4) counts of Larceny after Breaking and Entering, and three (3) counts of Misdemeanor Larceny. Campbell was taken before Magistrate Eric Holmes and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $120,000.00 secured bond.

    As a result of the continuing investigation, Investigator Scott Williams applied for and obtained additional warrants charging Campbell with one (1) count of First Degree Burglary, two (2) counts of Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle, and one (1) count of Misdemeanor Larceny. On September 26, 2013, Campbell’s bond was increased to $300,000.00 secured by a District Court Judge. Campbell also received an additional $22,500.00 secured bond after being served in the Beaufort County Detention Center on the most recent charges.

On May 12, 2023, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Kyle Willis Bailey, 47 years of age, of Washington
On 04/13/2023, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit, Officers with the Washington Police Department and Probation Officers conducted a search of Germaine Williams residence located at 829 Boston Avenue in Washington.
On 03/11/2023, Patrol Deputies assigned to the Aurora area served arrest warrants on Anthony Bragg, 32 years of age, of 1824 Bay City Road in Aurora.
On 02/7/2023, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Shaquel Collins, 29 years of age, of 113 Days Inn in Washington.
