Unions of gov't employees and airline pilots blast Schumer shutdown | Eastern NC Now

Traditionally, unions have been big supporters of the Democrats, but that support is starting to seriously crack when it comes to the Schumer shutdown of the federal government.  Two key union groups, the American Federation of Government Employees, the main union of federal workers, and four unions representing airline pilots have called for the end of the Schumer shutdown by passage of the clean continuing resolution as Republicans have already passed through the House and Democrats have blocked in the Senate.
