Liberal billionaire Bill Gates has long been a disciple of the climate activist movement, speaking out for their agenda and putting lots of his own money behind it. Now, Gates has abruptly reversed course and published a 17 page memo on his website saying that global warming / climate change poses no danger to humanity and the scaremongering of doom from it was wrong. This comes shortly after the first and only study of data from tidal gauges worldwide going back to the 1800s has debunked the key climate alarmist dogma of "sea level rise."
Gates is a key player in the globalist movement and a major mover and shaker at their WEF confabs at Davos. It will be interesting to see how many more of that ilk join him in beating a hasty retreat from climate alarmism.
Dr. Vaclav Klaus, former multi-term prime minister and president of the Czech Republic has described climate alarmism as "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today."
Meanwhile, liberal Democrat states that jumped on the climate alarmist bandwagon with their energy policies are seeing their electricity rates skyrocket. That is becoming a political drag for them as shown by the Republican surge in Tuesday's New Jersey election which is now neck and neck in what used to be a solid Democrat state.

We should remember that North Carolina's Green New Deal which promotes the wind and solar boondoggle over reliable conventional electricity was rammed through the legislature in an undemocratic power play by Phil Berger and Tim Moore, who are at least nominally "Republican" but were serving the special interests, particularly "woke" energy monopoly Duke Energy, plus Governor Roy Cooper, when they did it. That was a shameful attack on NC electric ratepayers that will push us in the direction of New Jersey on our power bills.
