Washington Times editorial: Obama Judge Boasberg should be impeached | Eastern NC Now

Washington, DC based Obama-appointed federal district court judge James Boasberg has played major roles in the ongoing judicial coup against President Trump, but it his involvement in a Jack Smith run partisan scheme to surveil ten Republican US senators and other Republican leaders called Artic Frost where the worst stink lies.  In that operation, Boasberg violated federal law in issuing subpoenas to seize the senators phone records accompanied by gag orders to hide that it was done.

Several senators who were victims of this partisan abuse of power have called for the impeachment of Boasberg, including Senator Ted Cruz.  There are also calls for televised senate hearings like the Watergate hearings on this scheme.  Now the Washington Times has editorially joined in the calls for Boasberg's impeachment.

Of course, another thing the Senate could do is forward a criminal referral against Boasberg to the Justice Department, or a Senate committee could do that.  Boasberg's actions violated at least three federal criminal laws.  Boasberg could go from wearing a black robe to wearing an orange jump suit and he would richly deserve that.
