conservative challenger defeats pro-trans incumbent on Loudon Cty VA school board | Eastern NC Now

county is hotbed of radical gender theory in schools

ENCNow

Loudon County, Virginia schools have been a hotbed of radical gender theory.  It has had a female student raped in a school bathroom by a biological male who the school system allowed to use that bathroom, and after the school system merely transferred the perp, he tried to rape another female student in a bathroom in his new school.  The school system is currently being sued in federal court over suspending two boys who expressed concern about a biological female being allowed to use their locker room.  The Loudon County schools have also had their federal funds cut off for refusing to enforce Title IX to protect girl students.

The turmoil over radical gender theory was front and center in the school board election this year.  Incumbent board member Arben Istrefi was a very outspoken supporter of radical gender policies.  She went down to defeat Tuesday to conservative Independent challenger Amy Riccardi who pledged to support Title IX and the rights of girls in county schools.  Loudon County is one of Virginia's most liberal, but even there, the radical gender ideology is now being seen as the debacle that it is.
