2 brazen examples of Europe's new woke censorship police state Dems want here | Eastern NC Now

The authoritarian police state erected around the woke notion of "hate speech" in Europe is something Democrats want to bring to America in their goal of suppressing our freedom of speech.  Two recent examples are particularly galling - a teacher sent to prison for "misgendering" so-called "transgender students in Ireland, and a young British mother arrested naked in her bath by 10 male police officers for "hate speech" for using the word "faggot" in a private text message about a man who had assaulted her.

The British young mother had been physically assaulted by a man, leaving bruises on her body and sent a friend a text in which she called her attacker a "faggot".  Expecting her father to come over, she had left her front door open for him while taking a bath.  Ten male police officers came right in her house and confronted her naked in her bathroom.  They even watched her while she got dressed.  She was charged and convicted of "hate speech" while nothing was even done about the man who assaulted her.

In Ireland, a school teacher is rotting in jail while appealing his conviction for "misgendering" gender confused students.  CIting his religious beliefs, he had refused to use their "new pronouns" or names.

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage, whose Reform Party has a double digit lead in the polls, is denouncing Labour Prime Minister Starmer as an "authoritarian".
