WOW! Even Google is now blasting UK Labour gov't over online censorship | Eastern NC Now

follows Trump suspending $40 Billioin project over "hate speech" laws

ENCNow

Elon Musk and Twitter / X have been having a lonely fight among big tech companies in opposing European censorship of the internet.  Now surprisingly, a company long known for its own internal political censorship, Google, has joined the fight, denouncing the British leftwing Labour government's  schemes to censor the internet.

This follows President Trump's suspension of a $40 Billion tech partnership between the US and UK over the UK's totalitarian "hate speech" rules on the internet.  Those rules could impact the free speech of Americans and American companies, and the Trump administration has put its foot down and loudly said it will not stand for it.
